A Printer’s Film Service Awarded 3 Golden Web Awards For Customer Websites

Summerfield, NC- Standing out on the worldwide web seems to be an everyday event for the Summerfield company, A Printer’s Film Service.  The company received notice on July 25, 2002 from the International Association of Web Masters & Designers that they had been given 3 Golden Web Awards for excellence in web design.  The winning sites are: summerfield-nc.com, the online presence for the Town of Summerfield, NC; nwtriadmerchants.com, a website representing merchants in the northwest triad area of Guilford County, NC; apparel-clothing-fashion.com, for The Upper Class Armario, a designer fashion shopping cart site for the Greensboro, NC clothing store.

Members of the IAWMD review the websites.  In order to receive the awards members critique and vote on the web’s overall design and function.  Only members can vote.  Once a web receives enough votes the Golden Web Awards are assigned.

“We are so excited to be given 3 Golden Web Awards at the same time.” stated A Printer’s Film Service web developer Maggie Houston.  The Golden Web Awards are important to us because other accomplished technicians in our field are reviewing our work and judging it to be excellent. At APFS we have worked hard to create websites of great value for our clients.  Each person or company that selects APFS for web development can expect to be found in search engines, receive clean, custom designs and experience an expedited publishing timeline.  APFS works to instill realistic expectations and develops an overall web-marketing plan within the goals expressed by the client.

“The greatest success with a website is the ability to position it within the framework of all other competitors.  Getting the client’s story clearly on to the site and developing a well-rounded strategy for reaching the target audience is critical for a company’s overall performance.  With over 24 years experience in the photography, advertising and marketing fields our company has a unique value for the clients that hire us.  Constant promotion and exposure to your client base with good solid information is necessary for gaining visitors attention,” explained Houston.

“Being on the web is even more important than ever,” continued Houston. “But just getting a website is not enough.  We have redesigned very expensive websites with a more practical search engine friendly approach. “Splash” pages are replaced with pages that will position the website within the www’s overall competitive marketplace.  We built our first web pages in 1996.  That was centuries ago in cyber timing.  Our philosophy is to do business and that takes time, patience and an over all strategy.  It takes a senior experienced company with lots of resources to bring to the table for the clients benefit.”

A Printer’s Film Service was selected to become a Microsoft Web Presence Developer in June and is one of 127 developers recommended by Microsoft countywide. Started in 1978 as a photo lab for commercial printers, agencies and consumers the company now includes photography, marketing and web development resources.  It’s website aprintersfilmserv.com brings work to Summerfield from all over the country.  APFS recently worked for Major League Soccer and National Geographic Explorer.
