The company is pleased to announce that the 4-color positioning concept it designed and produced for the Town of Summerfield is featured in US Air’s Attaché Magazine focus on the Piedmont of North Carolina. This ad is the first step in the town’s economic development; being seen by over 1,600,000 people. “We are very glad the Mayor, Deena Barnes; Town Administrator, Michael Brandt and experienced business owners like Steve Barney; Billy Tesh, the Milam’s; John Turner; D. Joyce and Cinda Whicker choose us to produce this very expensive and sophisticated design project. In addition we have printed 1000 copies to distribute as value added promotion for the advertisers and our town.” Explained APFS co-owner Gary Houston. “Our challenge as the designer was to blend supplied material from many sources into a cohesive concept for the Town.” Summerfield is the only town within the Piedmont region to encourage locally based, national level companies to come together and co-operate to pay for the placement. “We have already received a couple of calls from the ad,” Stated Steve Barney of Sports Auto. Cinda Whicker of Purgason’s had clients see the ad on a US Airways flight and come into the store to tell her. The ad also allowed artist Shelia Williams, Gianni Vineyards, Abuela’s Fine Consignments and The NW Triad Merchants to gain national visibility. “This is exactly the kind of forward leading governing we businesses need to help with our trade marking. Whether it’s Lamborghini or NW Triad Merchants getting the logos and websites out there is a real step toward public recognition. It shows sophistication,” Stated Houston. Several companies have taken advantage of the 26 years APFS has in the photography and printing industries; engaging APFS to photograph, design and print advertising promotional materials or co-ordinate websites. Since March APFS has photographed, designed, scanned and typeset press ready materials for Summerfield Designs, floral designers; Archive Editions of LA, Arts and Crafts Period textiles; Little Boxes of Love, for the Cracker Barrel and a training manual for Down The Line Concept on putters. “Besides professional photography, we are a trade publishing house and receive the benefits of great pricing from our printing industry partners. APFS can pass the savings to our clients making us very competitive. APFS also is an experienced desktop publisher,” states Houston. A Printer's Film Service, established in 1978, is now a digital photography, Microsoft™ Web Presence Developer and Marketing firm that has transitioned the technological challenges of a changing industry and business environment working on the national level. ###
