This effort showcases some of the remarkable national work that the company is executing from its Summerfield office. In January of this year the company was chosen by LA Center Studios to concept a corporate design for it’s Special Events Division. Working with the Studio’s Board of Directors the submission by certified graphic designer and co-owner Maggie Houston was accepted. Stated Erica Chambers of LA Center Studios, “You (APFS) are the best!” Houston creates corporate identities, award-winning websites, publishes and develops marketing programs for trademarks and branding recognition. She has worked with RJ Reynolds, Sara Lee, Lowe’s Home Improvement and other national corporations in her 25-year career. The company also printed single sheets for the studio to coincided with their screening of the movie, Big Fish. Marketing research and custom email lists have opened a new division for the company. Working for TST-Indiana, McLeod Software-Alabama, Bianchi Elite Racing Team-North Carolina and others has expanded the company’s marketing arm. APFS now builds highly targeted email lists and sends press releases on a national basis. “We’ve worked with the Wall Street Journal and the Hollywood Reporter. Calls have come in from the Baltimore Sun, Layover Magazine, and CNN. Locally we have had questions from the Greensboro News and Record on the Summerfield Youth Council: ‘Just for the fun of it horse show’,” explains Houston. Chuck Parker of Automotive Digest emails, “We are going to post and push. Keep the releases coming!” This email query came for another client, ‘I am co-producing, scripting, and hosting a documentary film on Santa Claus. We were referred to you regarding the Santa Around the World Exhibit. We could be interested in filming it. Hope to hear from you!’ Houston further explains, “We sent the Santa information out over 2 years ago. Our job now is to get this person in touch with the client to see if we can get something going here. Some of the broadcasts we execute take time to mature. The main thing is to be consistent and stay on target. The public starts to identify with the trademark over a period of time. Mainly we are trying to trigger a reaction to the trademark that will create a response or as in the Santa inquiry above, some interest that will be remembered at the needed time.” “It is very exciting to see clients benefit from our work; like this Fleet Magazine email: ‘We will feature Pat (Sullivan) in our next Fleet Newsletter and his photo will be on our cover page in the next week or so.’ All companies and organizations need this kind of service and APFS is has the expertise,” says Houston.
